Travelling to Les Pensières

Les Pensières Center for Global Health is three and a half hours from Paris by TGV, 40 minutes from Geneva international airport, one and a half hours by motorway from Lyon and less and one hour from the Mont Blanc tunnel linking France and Italy. A location map is shown below.

Airport transfers

Included as part of your registration package we will have group airport transfers available on Sunday afternoon at the following times: 14:00, 17:00 and 20:00. These will be in the Les Pensières minibus. We will liaise with all confirmed delegates nearer the time to check who would like to join this service.

Return airport group transfers will be available on Wednesday afternoon after lunch at 14:00 and 17:00. These are also included in your registration fee.

Driving, private cars and taxis

Taxi from Annecy train station to Les Pensieres are available at the taxi rank at Annecy train station and will cost approximately €18-25 each way depending on time of day and taxi taken and will take between 10-20 minutes again depending on the time of day. The train station is 3.3 miles from the venue.

It is a 45 minute drive from Geneva Airport (29 miles)

Parking is available for those arriving by car.

Private cars can be booked from Geneva Airport should you prefer to travel independently and this will cost approximately €135 for a one way trip.
